The Future of Ontario Place - documenting a heritage site.
ONTARIO PLACE | TORONTO

DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY + VIDEO
Commissioned by the University of Toronto’s John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, I created photography and video for a research and public engagement initiative exploring Ontario Place’s cultural significance and future as a public space.
Spearheaded by architect Aziza Chaouni, the project brought together architectural research, personal memories and conversations about the site’s history and possibilities. It examined the legacy of architect Eberhard Zeidler, landscape architect Michael Hough and playscape designer Eric McMillan, alongside the experiences of the people who have used and shaped Ontario Place.
The initiative was a partnership between the Daniels Faculty, World Monuments Fund and Architectural Conservancy Ontario, with support from World Monuments Fund. Published in Azure, Domus, and Designlines.
